1. RELEASE
To move forward effectively you must release the things that hold you back. When and if you are able to identify the things in your life that hinder your progress AND let the attachment to them go, you will be one step closer to your next season. Oftentimes we refer to the weapons outside of us not being able to prosper. Now its gut check time. What weapons have you yourself empowered? When you are able to conquer the enemy within you will be able to see things a bit more clearly. Spirit is calling on you to release yourself from bad habits, environments, company and the likes-whatever it might be (or all that it includes) limiting you.
2. RECALL
Now that your load is lighter it's time to recall those inner urgings. Have you ever had an idea that you didn't act upon? Of course you have and for some reason despite all the outside chatter you have this nagging feeling that you should be doing something about it. We always pray for signs from the Most High yet tend to ignore the light bulb moments when he responds. Sometimes we share our ideas prematurely with those who (intentionally or otherwise) serve as confusion. Now something that seemed a sure bet gives you a bit of insecurity and you aren't certain that you should move forward. Well if you followed Step 1 you've released some primary obstacles and now you are being tasked to recall that great idea once again.
3. REVISE
Now that you are recalling your ideas/deferred dreams it is time to make some revisions. Time is fluid and depending on how long it has been since you've made any actions towards your goal it may be fine time for a few updates and system reboot, so to speak. Are any of the ideas outdated? Can you think of additional routes/channels you may take to hit goal? Sometimes we share ideas with others not because we are bragging but because we are needing assurance. Guess what? Even if you were discouraged by feedback you received it is time to review any feedback that may have been useful. Dissect it accordingly. Combine any fruitful suggestions with your own ideas to mind map and revise your vision into a tangible goal.
4. REALIZE
You made it through to rediscovering your strengths, your goals and most importantly for some: REDISCOVERING YOU! Now it's time to realize your goals in action. I always think of children before they are tainted by outside chatter or someone bursts their balloon. Sometimes as adults we must undo some of the things we've been taught or led to fear so that we may get back to those pure childlike thoughts and reclaim some of that pure energy we once held. You know the energy that saw nothing but possibilities. No matter how big or small your goal/plan may be if there is anything blocking your progress I'm encouraging you to start now. Remember: Release. Recall. Revise. Realize.
